1-on-1 Session

Work 1-on-1 with a trained math counselor to address your struggles in math and build your math skills. Counselors can help students clarify concepts, understand how to work through problems, and skill-build for exams (midterms, finals, and quantitative reasoning on standardized tests such as the GRE).

Counselors specialize in calculus, statistics, and math foundations (algebra, geometry, and other quantitative reasoning topics). Please read each counselor's profile for specific topics of expertise.

Please note that only 1 session per week is allowed per student. If you would like to see a counselor more often, please see them during drop-in hours. Hours can be found on our website.

The Math Success Program (MSP) is a new support service for UCLA undergraduates. Math counselors guide students in 1-on-1 sessions to develop the confidence and skills necessary to apply math inside and outside of the classroom.

All services are free of charge.

Our Services Include:
-1-on-1 sessions (by appointment only)
-Drop-Ins (Tuesdays 4-6 & Wednesdays 12-2)
